Smart parking ecosystem works on information gathering and transmission through smart devices. To manage individual parking spaces and compliance monitoring, Konnect Parking installs vehicle detection sensors to regulate the daily management of parking operations and to frame better future business methodologies.
Automated Number Plate Recognition is an optical character recognition technology that automatically reads the license plate information as soon as a vehicle enters the parking space. The system converts the pixels of the digital image into text and stores the number plate information for better compliance. Our ANPR system enables client-specific applications such as comparison of number plates with a Blacklist, Whitelist, and Exclusion List.
Commonly referred to boom gate, these barriers are needed to block the vehicular access through a controlled point. The barrier is lifted by the tip in a vertical arc to allow vehicles to pass through the access point. Most of these boom gates have a second arm which is lifted to 300 to 400 mm below the upper arm on lowering.
The RFID technology works on a theory similar to barcodes. These tags aren’t automatically scanned and do not require a line-of-sight to a reader. Ranging from 3 to 300 feet, the RFID tag must come in range with the reader in order to be readable. Our smart RFID readers enable quick scanning of several items simultaneously, even when surrounded with several other items.
